Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Summer Camp as it was originally intended will not be taking place this summer. Instead, the City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural & Community Services Department has evaluated the safety guidelines put in place by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) in order to provide a modified child care program while keeping health and safety a top priority.
Due to limited capacity and demand, Summer Care will ONLY be open to current SIB Resident ID Cardholders and registration will operate via a lottery system. One lottery form should be submitted per child. The lottery system will select participants at random and does not guarantee multiple spaces for siblings.
The deadline to enter the lottery has been extended to 5 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2020. If selected, you will be notified on Monday, June 29, 2020 by 5 pm. You will have until Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 5 pm to register for your requested Summer Care programs or the next person in line will be called and you will forfeit your spot.
