The City has been working with extremely talented professionals who are building The Underline from Brickell to Dadeland underneath Metrorail in three phases. The first phase in Brickell is a spectacular use of urban space. But we are taking a different approach in our city.

We have a dire need for more team sports and other recreational facilities. The Lehman Causeway underpass and adjacent city-owned land present a tremendous opportunity to provide these amenities to our residents.

We are still in the very early planning phase for this new park. A critically important component of conceptualizing the final plan is to ensure robust and inclusive input from our residents.

We want to hear from as many residents as possible about what you want this new park to be. This includes the name of the park, as “The UnderPark” is being used as a point of reference.
