2024 College Scholarship Application for High School Seniors

Applications must be complete and submitted by Tuesday, February 20, 2024, by 5 PM. Formal award will be announced in April 2024. For more information, contact the Scholarship Committee at scholarship@sibfl.net.

All students who properly complete an online application will receive a submission receipt to the email listed. Save a copy for your records. If you do not receive a submission receipt, your application was not complete. Please resubmit the form.

Additional Requirements

The following are required to complete your application package:

200-300 word essay to include the topics below:
- Pride in your City (Sunny Isles Beach)
- Impact of your community service participation
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
- Why is this scholarship important to you?
Letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor AND from a person who has worked with the applicant in an organization or club in the area of leadership, service to community, charitable organizations, etc.

Please ensure that essays are attached, and all documents are signed, approved and able to be verified.

Verifiable contact information for each letter is required. Application must be complete and submitted by Tuesday, February 20, 2024 by 5 PM. Scholarship winners will be personally notified in March. Formal award will be announced in April 2024.

***APPLICANT MUST HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH FOR A YEAR PRIOR TO JANUARY 1, 2024 and MUST CURRENTLY BE A RESIDENT TO BE ELIGIBLE.
